Renovation and demolition rubbish removal
Fast renovation, demolition and construction rubbish removal across Melbourne - no skip bin needed, free quotes.
Mid-renovation and buried in debris? We remove renovation, demolition and construction rubbish across Melbourne - timber, plasterboard, ripped-out kitchens and bathrooms, tiles, concrete, bricks and general builders' waste. We load it all by hand and haul it away, so you skip the cost and hassle of a skip bin. Built for renovators, builders, tradies and property managers who need the site cleared fast.
What we clear after a renovation
Renovation rubbish is heavier and more awkward than household waste, and it turns up in stages. A kitchen strip-out gives you cabinetry, benchtops and splashback tile. A bathroom gives you tiles, old fixtures and a lot of dust-covered rubble. Re-flooring gives you carpet, underlay and floorboards, all of it bulky and none of it something the council bin will take.
We clear all of it - timber and offcuts, plasterboard and gyprock, concrete, bricks and rubble, doors, windows and frames, and the general builders' waste that piles up in the driveway. Loaded by hand, so nothing needs to be dragged out first.
Demolition debris: we remove it, we don't demolish
A lot of people searching for demolition rubbish removal have already had the work done and just need the mess gone. That is exactly what we do. Once a wall is out, a shed is down or a kitchen is stripped, we clear the debris - often the same day, so the trades that follow can get in.
To be clear about what we are: we are a rubbish removal company, not a demolition contractor. We do not knock anything down. If you still need the demolition itself, your builder or a licensed demolisher handles that part and we take away what is left.
What it costs, and why it usually beats a skip
Renovation rubbish is priced by volume, with heavy material - concrete, brick, tile, rubble - factored in separately, because a half-truck of rubble weighs far more than a half-truck of timber. You get a fixed price before we start, and we beat any comparable written quote by 10%.
A skip looks cheaper until you add the parts nobody quotes you: the hire period, a council permit if it sits on the street or nature strip, the driveway space it occupies for a week, and the hours you spend loading it yourself. We turn up, load it, and it is gone in one visit - collection and disposal in the one price.
For builders, trades and owner-builders
Regular site clears are some of our steadiest work. Builders and renovators book us between stages so the site stays safe and workable, and we can hold a standing slot on longer jobs. For owner-builders doing it themselves at weekends, we come in on the Monday and take the week's pile.
If the job is commercial rather than residential - a shop fitout, an office strip-out or a warehouse - that sits under commercial rubbish removal, and the same crew handles it.
The one thing to check before you start
Asbestos. Melbourne housing stock built before the late 1980s is full of it - fibro sheeting, eaves, old bathroom and laundry linings, shed and garage walls. It is safe while it is intact and dangerous once it is broken or cut, which is exactly what a renovation does.
We cannot take it, and no general rubbish removal service can. If there is any doubt about a material, stop, get it tested, and use a licensed asbestos removalist for that portion. We will happily clear everything else on the same visit.
